about

I spent probably the more time mixing this song than any other song on Childish. What happened was that I just let it sit way too long. Like most songs, when I let them sit too long, I'd improve as an artist and ultimately feel like they don't represent my skills currently. This is the oldest song on this project and probably older than most songs on Childish. I made it my freshman year and by the time I was looking at a semi-final copy of Childish, I cut it.
This songs meaning is still dope to me though! I had this whole idea, originally, to have this conversation with this girl named "Windy Eve" on the album Childish. She was essentially the beauty of Chicago, which explains her first name, and represented all these sinful temptations, which explains her last name. While talking to her, she'd convince me to get high which is what this song is about: getting high. I compare myself to Peter Pan, because Wendy is Peter Pan's lover just like Windy was mine. Ultimately cutting Windy from the project, the idea is still there. This song is just replaced by "Exposure" which has the same concept as this song: getting high.
If you listen to "Tap Dance" by Social Experiment you'd totally understand this song more.
